How it works

Legacy Points are account-wide, builds are per character

WoW Forever launches with 65 Legacy Challenges. Completing a challenge grants one Legacy Point to the account. Every non-Hardcore character can then spend its own selection of those unlocked points, with a 16-point launch cap per character.

The calculator enforces the current beta rules: deeper perks need 5 or 10 points already invested in earlier perks from the same tree, and linked perks such as Talented, Frequent Flier, Dedicated Study, Performance Bonus, Permanence and Reagent Economy require their prerequisite perk at maximum rank.

Current tree totals

Each tree currently contains seven usable perks and 23 ranks, for 21 perks and 69 ranks across all three trees. The client also contains future placeholder slots that are intentionally not selectable here.
