WoW Forever roadmap

Blizzard has published a clear road to launch. The post-launch promise is equally important — Forever is intended as a permanent level-60 home that keeps growing — but most future content dates are not public yet.

Launch content foundation

Blizzard’s opening recap confirms three new zones, more than 1,000 new quests, nine dungeons, two raids and Skyborne. Same-day panels added more granular descriptions of four launch regions, dungeon level bands and the two raid sizes.

Post-launch direction

The deep-dive message is that Forever is a long-term home rather than a short seasonal experiment. Panel reporting says the team wants additional dungeons, raids, overworld drops and PvP seasons to arrive while preserving the slower Classic-style journey.

Future places named on stage

Panel reporting names Gilneas, Uldum, the Emerald Dream and areas beyond Un’Goro as examples of unfinished spaces the team can revisit. They are not listed here as launch zones and do not have confirmed release dates.

Roadmap rule: wow-forever.top will not turn an on-stage idea into a release-date claim. Future destinations stay labeled as panel-reported until Blizzard publishes a concrete update.

Roadmap FAQ

What is the WoW Forever launch roadmap?

The official schedule currently includes beta September 17–October 21, Invite-A-Friend code delivery beginning October 20, Early Name Reservation October 27–November 3 and global launch November 4, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. PST.

Will WoW Forever receive content after launch?

Yes in principle: Blizzard describes Forever as a world intended to grow for years. Panel reporting says new dungeons, raids, overworld drops and PvP seasons are intended to arrive over time, but a complete dated post-launch calendar has not yet been officially published.

Are Gilneas and Uldum launch zones?

No. Panel reporting describes Gilneas, Uldum, the Emerald Dream and areas beyond Un’Goro as future possibilities or unfinished parts of the Vanilla map, not confirmed launch destinations.
