What we know
WoW Forever will not use a traditional realm list. Players choose Normal, PvP or Roleplaying rulesets, while Hardcore arrives after launch. Grouping works within the same ruleset, Horde and Alliance remain separate, and Hardcore is its own enclosed ecosystem. Characters use two-part names similar to a first and last name, unique per region, and players can choose a language preference.
What beta needs to answer
How population layering is presented in the UI
Exact language-preference behavior
Guild and auction-house scope
Character-transfer rules between live rulesets
PvP faction-balance implementation
How two-part names appear in chat, addons and APIs
Verification status: core system behavior comes from Blizzard’s official Deep Dive where available; exact values, unlock requirements and edge cases will still be refined through beta verification.
