What Meeting Stones do in Forever
Developers say the stones still sit outside dungeons, but instead of summoning party members they open a new Looking for Group interface. Players can list or discover groups for activities, then communicate and assemble the party manually.

No automatic party creation

No Retail-style one-button queue
Travel still matters
Warlock summons remain valuable

The developers specifically framed the travel and gathering period as social downtime: time for players to talk before spending the next 30–40 minutes together in a dungeon.
