Beta Build 1.60.1.70009

A practical site-wide summary of the changes that affect our talent calculators, spell database, racials and guides.

Druid

Talent replacements + spell tuning

Mangle is now Primal Bite; Primal Fury is now Blood Frenzy. Wrath base damage increased by roughly 50%, and several healing-over-time effects can critically strike.

Paladin

Holy Strike & Retribution retune

Improved Holy Strike and Crusade are gone from current client talent data. Holy Strike uses a 10 sec cooldown; Holy Power, Sacred Arbiter, Vengeance, Two-Handed Weapon Specialization and Twist of Light were retuned.

Shaman

Elemental tree reordered

Elemental Alacrity moved to row 3, Elemental Fury to row 6, and the Call of Thunder prerequisite chain changed. Lightning Bolt and Lava Burst also received tuning.

Warrior

Bloodthrill and Slam tuning

Bloodthrill now uses 4/8/12/16/20% proc ranks and only Main Hand melee attacks. Slam has an 18 sec cooldown; Improved Slam reduces it by 1.5/3 sec.

Mage

Fire timing windows extended

Wake of Fire lasts 30 sec and Hot Streak lasts 20 sec.

Hunter

Strider Kick movement bonus

Strider Kick now increases movement speed by 30% for 3 sec.

Racials

Eureka!, Cultivation & Touch of the Grave

Gnome Eureka! is now a 10% resource-cost reduction; Cultivation gained level requirements; Touch of the Grave no longer triggers from non-damaging spells or breaks crowd control with its damage.

Cooldown Manager

Available for Druid, Mage, Priest, Warrior and Warlock in this beta phase. Blizzard/Wowhead note that additional classes are still to come and spell-rank tracking is not yet supported.

Known issues worth tracking

  • Some curses/banes can need target reacquisition before tracking correctly.
  • Pet cooldowns are not fully supported.
  • Weapon enchants and Rogue poisons are not tracked yet.
  • Arcane Blast cannot currently be tracked.
  • Stormwind minimap display has a known issue.

Warrior note: Blizzard's notes describe a Bastion / Focused Rage position swap, while current build-file talent data still exposes the previous positions. Our calculator follows the client-file positions and flags the discrepancy instead of guessing.
