How to Plan, Save and Share a Talent Build
Use level budgets, prerequisites, rank descriptions and saved builds in the WoW Forever talent calculator.
Choose your character level
The calculator starts at level 60 with 51 points. Lower the level to plan a character that is still leveling. The displayed points remaining and level needed help you keep the build within its budget.
Read the effect before spending
Hover or focus a talent on desktop. On a phone, tap it to open the detail panel, then use Learn or Unlearn. Estimated rank descriptions are labeled. An estimate should not be treated as a value verified in the game client.
Follow rows and arrows
Deeper rows require more points invested in earlier rows of that tree. An arrow adds a prerequisite: its parent talent must be fully learned. If you cannot remove a point, check whether another learned talent depends on it. Remove dependent talents first, or reset the tree.
Save a working version
Save on this device keeps one build for the current class in this browser. Saving again replaces that local version. Browser storage is not an online account and may be cleared by private browsing or cleanup tools. Keep a share link somewhere you can find it if the build matters to you.
Share with context
Use Copy build link and tell the recipient your role, level and intended activity. A build for a leveling party may solve different problems from a solo or PvP build. Reopen the link to review the allocation before using it in a guide.
Revisit after a data update
A corrected rank or prerequisite can make an older build invalid. The calculator checks allocations when restoring them and does not force an impossible build. Review your points after updates.
