Added by the deep dive
Panel coverage names Mount Hyjal, Zephras Isle, The Riverglades and Shen'Dralas as launch regions; details all nine dungeons; names Hyjal Summit and Barrow Deeps as raids; discusses the Darkspear Islands battleground; and introduces Camping, Legacy, optional transmog, SD/HD models, gamepad support and Hardcore.
Design philosophy
No flying and no level scaling were highlighted as part of keeping the world grounded and familiar. Forever is meant to grow for years without abandoning the level-60 identity that anchors the experience.
Still unclear
Full class trees, the final race/class matrix, exact raid rules, complete item tables, profession changes, server names and much of the long-term release cadence still need first-party documentation or direct testing. Blizzard has now published the beta window, launch time, name-reservation period and upgrade-edition access rules.
