WoW Forever deep dive expands the reveal
The panel moved beyond the launch headline and outlined Forever's world philosophy, named content and new systems.
Four core pillars
Panel coverage describes Forever as approachable and familiar, built around the world as the main character, focused on the journey before the destination, and designed to protect social experiences.
Named regions
Mount Hyjal was described as an endgame region, Zephras Isle as a level 1–12 starting region, with The Riverglades and Shen'Dralas also named. Blizzard's opening recap separately says Forever contains three new zones, so this portal calls the panel list “launch regions” until the official site explains which are new, expanded or differently categorized.
Dungeons and raids
The panel named Krol'dok Stronghold as a large outdoor dungeon plus Dalaran, Halls of Thanes, Ruins of Lordaeron, Excavation Site, Alcaz Island Prison, Blackmaw Hold, Shaper's Terrace and The Drowned City. Hyjal Summit and Barrow Deeps were named as raids.
Classes, racials and Skyborne
Skyborne can choose Horde or Alliance. Same-day reports agree that Skyborne can choose Horde or Alliance and include Druids with new forms, but they conflict on the exact faction mapping for Shaman and Mage. We leave that mapping unverified until Blizzard or beta data resolves it. Paladin tanking was used as one concrete example of class improvement, and racials are also getting a pass.
Camping, Legacy and player options
Camping creates portable crafting stations with bonuses when multiple players gather together. A Legacy System rewards repeated leveling journeys. Optional transmog, an SD/HD model toggle, gamepad support and Hardcore mode were also reported.
