Beta September 17–October 21, launch November 4
Blizzard has now published the full first testing window and the early name-reservation dates.
The World of Warcraft: Forever beta begins September 17, 2026 and runs through October 21, 2026. Blizzard says guaranteed beta access is included with the Skyborne Epic Pack and Warcraft Forever Collection.
Early name reservation
Any WoW Forever upgrade purchase includes early name reservation from October 27 through November 3, allowing up to three characters to be created and customized before launch.
Launch access
World of Warcraft: Forever launches November 4 at 3:00 p.m. PST. Blizzard confirms the base Forever experience is included with a World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time.
Launch-week friend access
Qualifying upgrades include Invite-A-Friend launch codes. Eligible friends can use those codes to play Forever from November 4 through November 11 without their own subscription or game time during that window.
